Havis Updates the CD-BS-1 FX Series Mount

Overview:

Notice of change to the CD-FX mounting base product line

Products Affected:

CD-BS-1

Change Description:

The CD-BS-1 is being discontinued.  An improved model, CD-BS-2, will replace CD-BS-1

Reason for Change:

Havis-Shields recently introduced a new CD-FX series product with slightly more weight than its other CD-FX series Collins Dynamics products.  The new base is made from polished stainless steel (versus soft brass) and is the only base recommended for mounting the new CD-FX-HID-1 light fixture. 

Replacement Product:

The CD-BS-2 stainless steel permanent mounting base is now available for replacements or new installations.  It offers higher strength, lower cost, and the same mounting hole pattern and form factor as the discontinued CD-BS-1.
