Side Strobe Lights:

BMW has adapted the 4E Series strobe light from Whelen Engineering, providing motor officers with leading edge lighting to enhance visibility. The lights, available in all Whelen colors, are mounted to laser-cut, powder coated mountings, complete with wiring harness and disconnect plugs for easy motor maintenance.

The side strobe lights are available as optional equipment and require additional outlets on the strobe power supply - If combined with the front and rear strobes.

BMW has adapted the PAR-36 strobe light from Whelen for use when forward facing light is needed. The lights are mounted in rubber enclousers secured to laser-cut, powder-coated mountings, complete with wire harness and dissconnect plugs for easy motor maintenance. These lights can be rotated slightly to the front to provide more front qudrant visibility.

Additionally, you can mount the PAR-36 strobe light on a special elevated mounting bracket to provide additional forward-facing exposure. (If you are utilizing the factory baton/flashlight holder option this will not work with that option.)

For CA where a steady CA Red light is needed the PAR-36 Strobe can be replaced with a halogen or LED steady red light.

Rear Whelen Series 7E Linear Strobe Lights

BMW has adapted the 7E Series strobe light from Whelen Engineering for the rear light plate, providing mototr officers greater light output. The new lights, available in all colors mount to a revised rear light plate: PART # 99 99 0 000 149

The 7E Series Linear (7"x3") are available as standard equipment, or alteratively the Series 500 linear strobe (5"x2") can be used.

Please notate that your radar unit can be mounted on the right rear below the license plate ID lights.

 

Rear Whelen Series 700 LED Lights

BMW has adapted the Series 700 LED light from Whelen for the rear light plate, providing motor officers with 14 programmable flash patterns combined with extreamly low current consumption. The new LED lights mount to the revised rear light plate: PN: 99 99 0 000 149
