From custom switch panels and power distribution centers, to RF controls, TST provides total electrical system solutions for the specialty truck industry. We have a complete staff of electrical and mechanical engineers that can design a complete “plug and play” electrical control system to fit your needs. We can also help improve or manufacture the control design you currently have in your trucks. 

Key among our switch control products is TouchTek 6, an innovative conductive rubber switch panel system that will simplify and satisfy your electrical requirements for most any application. 

Cables & Harnesses:

TST also provides wiring harness solutions for automotive and industrial needs. We have an extensive inventory of wires, cables, relays and electrical connectors to get your harnesses built right and just in time (JIT). Our JIT deliveries help you reduce your inventory cost and increase your efficiency. We also provide custom wire printing, striping, molding, ultrasonic wire splicing and resistance welding.

We are an industry leader in specialty cable harness manufacturing. We can produce cables and wiring harnesses for a wide variety of specialized automotive and industrial needs. Our cable harness manufacturing facility is located in Ft. Payne, in the mountain lakes region of Northeast Alabama.

We have experience producing over a thousand varieties of harnesses and cables. The size of these assemblies can vary from 4 inch jumpers to harnesses over 100 feet in length. Complexity varies from single wire jumpers to harnesses with hundreds of wires. We also manufacture battery cables and control boxes.

Our harness customers are primarily automotive-related companies, including the world’s largest manufacturer of waste disposal vehicles, the world’s largest manufacturer of automobile recovery vehicles and major emergency vehicle OEM.

Safety & Security:

We design and manufacture products that reduce crashes and injuries, making our roadways safer and more secure. Our products save companies money by reducing  insurance costs and claims.  Chief among these products is the Eagle Eye™ Obstacle Detection System (ODS). The Eagle Eye™ ODS surrounds the vehicle with up to 10 strategically mounted sensors located where your trucks need protection most. The sensors detect obstacles up to ten feet away.
