Step #2 – You will arrive at this page:

This page has two options. If you have already installed:

  • Windows Installer 3.1
  • .NET Framework 3.5 SP1

    Then you can click on the highlighted link that says "Launch"

    If you have not heard of the above two applications or do not know it is best to click on the INSTALL button.

  • When you click on this button you will see a screen that states you need to agree to the license agreement (please do so) this will then start the install process for:

  • Windows Installer 3.1
  • .NET Framework 3.5 SP1

    ** This process can take up to 40 minutes to complete on some machines – But will usually complete in 10-20 depending on the condition of the current machine **

    The screen you will see will look like this:

    When the above completes it will show a screen that states a restart is needed. Please restart your computer at this point.

    When you reboot the machine you will be presented with a dialog box:

    Please select the RUN button.

    Please then select the INSTALL button to install the software

    The installation progress bar will show the download progress

    When this completes the application will open and there will be an application icon on your desktop to access WeCad in the future.

    Future updates will be automatically installed if you select them when prompted.
