About Collins Dynamics:

 

At Collins Dynamics... We've been manufacturing lighting products for professionals since 1976,

products that public safety and service professionals count on in emergency situations. We start with advanced product engineering and design, specify the most durable materials, then employ stringent production standards to ensure that your light will have a long, trouble-free life of service. 3003 anodized extruded aluminum is used to make the main bodies of our metal light fixtures, and impact resistant polycarbonate is used in our non-metal Pulsar®, Knight Star®, and Genesis® Series lights.

 

Light weight spun aluminum and brass are used to make our reflectors and housings. Reflectors are polished, and vacuum metallized to a mirror-like finish. Housings are finished in chrome plate or powder coat, and press fit into the main body of our fixtures to give them a rugged, unibody frame.

Heavy duty corrosion-resistant metals are used in our die-cast handles and bases. All components are made in the U.S.A. except lamps and batteries. We manufacture a complete line of AC and DC high-intensity lighting products... In addition to Collins Dynamics' lighting products, our parent company, Havis Shields Equipment Corp. also manufactures Kwik-Raze® 120/220 volt lighting fixtures and telescoping poles in their Warminster, Pennsylvania facility. We're continually researching and developing new products to meet the changing needs of the public safety market.

FX-12 - Selectable spot / flood light

Select spot or flood pattern with this dual stage reflector. Weatherproof housing. Uses 100 watt H-2 spot and 55 watt H-2 flood bulbs. Draws 7.8 amps on spot, 4.2 on flood.

 

FX-9 - Selectable spot / flood light

Select spot or flood pattern with this dual stage reflector. FX-9 features ten times the flood light of an FX-12. Weatherproof housing. Uses two 100 watt H-2 bulbs. Draws 7.8 amps on spot or flood.

 

FX-6 enhanced floodlight

Single stage wide angle flood reflector produces 125,000 candlepower out to 40°. Peak candlepower reaches 300,000 in the center of the beam pattern. Uses one 100 watt H-1 bulb. Draws 7.8 amps.

Collins Dynamics' patented selectable spot/ flood reflector combines separate spot and flood
beam patterns in one light fixture. It's like having two lights in one body, and you never need to focus.

Sealed Beam Spotlight Upgrade

Install a PAR-46 replacement kit and never replace a sealed beam unit again. Replace only the bulb, at a much lower cost than an entire sealed beam unit. Kit includes Collins' patented reflector, bulb, and wiring.

FX-Series
Light up the night with an FX-Series Light
Patented FX Series single and dual-stage reflectors provide high-intensity halogen spot, flood and enhanced flood beam patterns. The FX body is constructed of black anodized aluminum with a chrome plated reflector housing, and an aluminum switch box. It's great for use on decks and aerial platforms, and operates from any 12 volt system.
It weighs 3.5 lb, and draws a maximum of 7.8 amps.
Order optional bases and rubber impact rings separately.

Knight Star Series

Fixed & Magnetic-Mount Lights

Knight-Star Series light housings are made of impact-resistant molded polycarbonate, and are available with fixed and magnetic mounting bases. Fixed-mount models have a black powder-coated steel mounting bracket and 90° vertical tilt range, while magnetic-mount models have a 90-lb pull magnetic base, a 15 foot, 16 gauge Neoprene rubber coiled cord, and 12 volt accessory outlet plug. Black color only.

Knight Star Magnetic-Mount Models

KN-6MS Spotlight - Single-stage reflector 350,000 candlepower spotlight includes on/off toggle switch. Draws 7.8 amps. Weighs 2.5 lb and uses 100 watt H-1 bulb.

KN-6MF Floodlight - Single-stage reflector 54š floodlight produces 60,000 candlepower. Includes on/off toggle switch. Draws 7.8 amps. Weighs 2.5 lb and uses 100 watt H-1 bulb.

Choose from 4 styles of heavy duty, chrome plated brass bases (BM-1 base is matte black).

They are designed to provide a lifetime of use and come complete with hardware.

BR-1 3" round base with 4 holes for permanent mounting.
BC-1 bar clamp fits 3/4" to 1-1/2" diameter poles.

KS-Series 12-Volt Pole-Mounted Systems
For situations where elevated high-intensity lighting is needed.Elevating the light fixtures avoids obstructions and produces better work area illumination.Light fixtures tilt and swivel independently so they can be aimed at different locations simultaneously.You may specify any combination of FX-12, 9 or 6 light fixtures. Order TP-1 Pole separately.

KS-I - Fully Adjustable Spot/ Flood

One FX-Series light of your choice complete with wiring, hardware, and base for mounting on a TP-1 telescoping pole. Order pole separately. Up to 750,000 candlepower. Draws 7.8 amps max.

Specify KS-I for FX-12 head, KS-I-9, for FX-9 head, or KS-I-6, for FX-6 head.*

KS-II -Independently Controlled Fixtures

Two independently-controlled FXs of your choice mounted on a 20" bright dipped aluminum crossbar. Includes complete hardware, wiring and base.

KS-II offers up to 1,500,000 candlepower, and draws 15.6 amps maximum.Order telescoping pole (TP-1) separately.

Specify: KS-II for FX-12 heads, KS-II-9, for FX-9 heads, or KS-II-6, for FX-6 heads.*

KS-III - Light the night with as much as 2, 250,000 candlepower...

With three independently-controlled lights mounted on a 28" bright dipped aluminum crossbar. Complete with mounting bases, and wiring for pole mounting.

Independent switch control of FX-Series lights permits simultaneous operation of all spot, all flood, or mixed modes. Order TP-1 telescoping pole separately. Up to 2,250,000 candlepower. Draws only 23.4 amps on full power.

Specify KS-III, for FX-12 heads, KS-III-9, for FX-9 heads, or KS-III-6 for FX-6 heads, or a combination.*

Bright-dipped anodized aluminum 4' telescoping pole for KS-Series light systems. 2-5/8" square mounting base with locking knob secures adjustments up to 4' above surface.

CD-12, and CD-12 Magnum

They're powerful, portable, and they supply up to 1,250,000 candlepower...

It's a portable version of our highly focused FX-12 light. Its dual-stage reflector produces

750,000 candlepower in spot pattern and 5,000 candlepower in flood pattern. CD-12 has a flexible neck that helps direct its brilliant white spot beam where you need it. It illuminates objects over a mile away, and is used by military, and public safety agencies around the world. It includes bulbs, rechargeable battery pack, 110-volt charger, rubber impact ring, and shoulder strap. An optional 220-volt charger is available.

Weighs 12.5 lb. It converts easily to IR use with optional IR-7 infrared lens.

CD-12 selectable spot/ flood pattern. Uses 100 watt H-2 spot and 55 watt H-2 flood bulbs. Operates for 1 hour spot, 1.5 hours flood, on full charge.

CD-12-MAG Spot pattern only. Uses 100 watt H-1 spot bulb. Operates for 1 hour on full charge.

CL-12 - Professional Selectable Spot/ Flood Light

Every part of this light is built rugged to withstand abuse. It includes an on/off/on switch for selecting

spot or flood beam, and a 9 foot, 16 gauge Neoprene rubber coiled cord that plugs into any 12 volt accessory outlet. Weighs 3.5 lb. Draws 7.8 amps. Uses 100 watt H-2 spot and 55 watt H-2 flood

bulbs. CL-12-M as above, with momentary switch added for selecting instant spot or flood.

DMB-CL Optional dash mount bracket for the CL-12, Magnum, and Pulsar 750.

Pulsar 500- Polycarbonate Spotlight :

High-quality handheld light in a closed-handle design made of impact- resistant lightweight

polycarbonate. Includes momentary rocker switch, and 9 foot, 16 gauge Neoprene rubber

coiled cord. D-Ring at bottom of handle makes light easy to hang in cab. Plugs into any 12 volt accessory outlet. Weatherproof. Weighs 2 lb. Draws 7.8 amps.
Uses 100 watt H-1 bulb.

Pulsar 750- Polycarbonate Selectable Spot/ Flood:

Similar to Pulsar 500 described above, but has a larger 7" dual-stage reflector, increased

candlepower, and a momentary rocker switch for selecting spot or flood beam.

Weighs 2.25 lb. Draws 7.8 amps on spot; 4.3 amps flood. Uses 100 watt H-2 spot bulb

and 55 watt H-2 flood bulb.

Genesis

Genesis 46/5 operates as a rechargeable-battery powered light or a handheld high-intensity spotlight. Just slide out the one-piece handle/ light fixture from the battery pack and operate from your vehicle's 12 volt accessory outlet with optional MC-12P accessory plug and 9 foot coiled cord. (Model 56/5 shown).

Genesis-It's 2-lights-in-1... With up to 400,000 candlepower

It's a portable light with a lightweight battery pack that you can carry on the job site to safely illuminate your work area.

And it's also a high-intensity spotlight you can operate directly from the 12 volt accessory outlet in your vehicle with the optional MC-12P accessory plug and 9-foot coiled cord.

Genesis features an impact resistant, weatherproof polycarbonate case that withstands considerable abuse, and includes reliable sealed Lead-acid batteries that do not experience "memory loss". Green and red LEDs on the battery pack indicate charge status.

All models come with selectable spot/ flood beam and 12 volt DC charge connector. A 120 volt AC charger is optional. Black color only.
