Whelen Warranty Information

WHELEN – REPAIR & WARRANTY SERVICE INFORMATION

PRODUCT FAILURE:

If you have a product failure you can do one of two things:

First - Contact our Regional Office and if we have the part, and it is still covered under the factory warranty, we will send a replacement part on a “parts exchange basis”. This means when you receive the new part – you MUST return the defective part to us. Defective parts found to not be covered under Warranty will be billed to the customer. A Return Authorization is required for all repairs and or Warranty claims via our regional office. Please call: 707-435-9233 – Labor to remove or replace the part is not covered under this warranty policy. Shipping is not covered under this warranty policy.

Second - If we do not have the replacement part you should send your warranty item back to WHELEN directly. No return authorization is required. Simply send the warranty item to:

Please include: A short description of the problem.

IN-SERVICE RELATED PROBLEM:

If you have a service related problem that you believe needs to be looked at simply call our Regional Office at (707) 435-9233. We will discuss the problem with you over the phone and then make a determination whether we will need to schedule a stop by or just send out the replacement parts – It’s that simple and easy! Please remember that your warning lights have a warranty. You paid for it so do not throw away any lamps, bulbs, rotators or any parts that you feel might fall into the warranty category – Call our Regional Office first and we will get you the information you need to determine if it will still be covered or replaced. Labor to remove or replace the part is not covered under this warranty policy. Shipping is not covered under this warranty policy. In cases where service calls fall outside of warranty related issues, the customer will be made aware of the charges to complete the work. We can also work with your installers to get the repairs completed.
